To enjoy yourself this season, INVEST IN YOU by choosing one thing each week that will increase your feelings of value, then do it. Select things that leave you feeling invigorated, happy and good.
Some ideas to put on your calendar:
Do something nice for someone else
Eat nutritious foods that make you feel good in addition to treats in moderation. Focus on food that leaves you feeling great long term, not just the quick fix.
Choose one day to celebrate you (e.g., your birth date; mine’s the 21st of the month)

Listen to music that lifts your spirits
Extend compassion to another
Practice color therapy by coloring in a coloring book
Find something that you enjoy doing by yourself then do it
Make a new friend
Stretch for 20 minutes
List 3 things you are grateful for

Spend some fun time with your pet
Have courage and do that thing you’ve been afraid to do
List 5 things you love about yourself
Be a good listener
Choose one character trait you want to strengthen then practice it
Play an instrument
Step out of your comfort zone – that’s where the magic happens!
